4-H
The purpose of 4-H is to foster skill development in young people. Youth are given the opportunity to select from a variety of programs and projects. Individuality is valued and each person is encouraged to discover his or her own skills, talents, and interests. 4-H helps young people learn to make decisions, think critically, build relationships, practice leadership, and develop a concern for their community and world.
ACS Army Emergency Relief
Army Emergency Relief (AER) offers financial assistance for Active Duty Soldiers, dependent Family members, Retirees, and Survivors. Assistance is provided as a non-interest bearing loan, grant, or combination of both. Areas of assistance may include food, rent, utilities, emergency transportation, vehicle repair, and funeral expenses as well as medical and dental expenses.
ACS Employment Readiness Program
The Employment Readiness Program (ERP) provides job search assistance and career counseling. The program offers assistance and workshops on resume building as well as job application and cover letter preparation. ERP also offers a resource library along with small business training, development, and counseling.
ACS Exceptional Family Member Program
The Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is a mandatory enrollment program for Family members (meeting eligibility criteria) with any physical, emotional, development, or intellectual disorder that requires special treatment, therapy education, training, or counseling. ACS EFMP works in partnership with various military and civilian agencies to provide comprehensive, coordinated support. ACS EFMP offers advocacy services, IEP assistance, unit and FRG briefings, relocation assistance, respite care to eligible recipients, support groups, and referrals. Additionally, ACS EFMP provides respite care, a temporary rest period for Family members responsible for regular care of persons with disabilities, for those meeting eligibility requirements.
ACS Family Advocacy Program
ACS Family Advocacy Program (FAP) provides the following classes and group sessions for Soldiers and Families: Anger Management and Stress Management, Parent and Family Life education, and Command and Troop education briefings. Additionally, FAP oversees the New Parent Support Program and the Victim Advocacy Program. ACS FAP also provides transitional compensation for abused Family members.
ACS Financial Readiness Program
Financial Readiness Program (FRP) provides Soldiers and Family members with up-to-date, relevant financial information, through group or individual training. FRP offers an array of services to assist individuals to improve their financial wellbeing, financial self-sufficiency, and reduce financial stressors. Program emphasis is on presentations designed to empower individuals and couples for financial goal setting, calculate and maintain a monthly spending plan, develop an approach to debt management, and promote a strong understanding of investment tools, to include TSP and home buying. In support of the Financial Readiness Common Military Training requirement for Soldiers, FRP financial counselors provide milestone training for the following topics: Prepare Finances for a Permanent Change of Station, Prepare Finances for Promotion, Prepare Finances for Vesting in the Thrift Savings Plan, Prepare Finances for Continuation Pay Under the Blended Retirement System, Prepare Finances for Marriage, Prepare Finances for Divorce, Prepare Finances for Welcoming a New Child, Prepare Finances for a Disabling Sickness or Condition, Prepare Finances for Deployment, and Prepare Finances for Return from Deployment.
ACS Lending Hangar
The Army Community Service Lending Hangar provides items such as pots and pans, dishes, irons, tables and chairs, and small electronic appliances for temporary loan up to 30 days to PCSing soldiers and family members.
ACS New Parent Support Program
ACS New Parent Support Program is a voluntary program that offers support, education, and assistance to expectant parents and parents of newborns, toddlers, and children up to the age of 3.  Hospital and home visitation by a Registered Nurse provide opportunities to learn about infant care, breastfeeding, childproofing the home, and infant and child development.  Additionally, the program hosts Mom or Dad and Me Too! (infant) and Tot Time playgroups weekly.
ACS Relocation Readiness Program
The Relocation Readiness Program (RRP) provides information and assistance to military personnel and their Families as they transition from one community to another. Transitioning to Fort Rucker: RRP is the one stop location for information about the Wiregrass area including maps and phone directories. The Lending Hangar has rollaway beds, car seats, televisions, microwaves, and various kitchen items available to borrow. Additional resources: • Military One Source – Installation Locator and Wiregrass community housing availability, 1-800-342-9647; • Corvias Military Living – On-post housing assistance, 334-503-3644 or online at www.rucker.corviasmilitaryliving.com; • Housing Services Office – Off-post housing assistance, 334-255-1854 or 334-255-2224. Transitioning from Fort Rucker: When leaving Fort Rucker, RRP provides assistance with the Military Installations Program. Additionally, for those going overseas, Relocation provides briefs on the following overseas assignments: Korea, Germany, Alaska, and Hawaii.
ACS Survivor Outreach Services (SOS)
Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) provides long-term support to surviving Families of fallen Soldiers. Our goal is to reassure survivors that they remain valued members of the Army Family. The SOS program connects you with people who can help. Our services include grief counseling, financial counseling, benefits coordination, support groups, and garrison and surrounding area events. *Never Forgotten Card The Fort Rucker Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (DFMWR) offers the Never Forgotten Card, a discount and activity card for Families (spouses, children, parents, and siblings under the age of 18) of Fallen Service members. The Never Forgotten Card program includes everyday benefits including an extra discount at on- and off-post facilities. The Never Forgotten Card is provided in recognition of the sacrifices of Survivors and demonstrates our commitment to provide quality programs and services to help enhance quality of life. *Survivor Access Card Section 626 of Public Law, 115-232, the John S. McCann National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 recognizes Survivors as having long term unescorted access to Army installations. The Survivor Access Card is intended for recognition and installation access to receive services, attend events, view memorials, and similar activities. The Survivor Access Card does not provide additional benefits or entitlements not already authorized to eligible surviving Family members. For example, it does not provide Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) Exchange or Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) privileges, and cannot be used to prove eligibility for the Survivor Family Program discount at Armed Forces Recreation Centers (AFRCs). Eligible surviving Family members are those who meet the criteria to receive the Gold Star Lapel Button or Next of Kin (NOK). Lapel Button including widow or widower, parent, child, stepchild, child through adoption, brother, half–brother, sister and half–sister and step-siblings. Surviving Family members who already have a military identification card granting installation access, such as a DD Form 1173 or Common Access Card (CAC) are not eligible to receive the Survivor Access Card.
ACS Victim Advocacy Program
ACS Victim Advocacy Program (VAP) provides comprehensive support to victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault, including crisis intervention, safety planning, help to secure medical treatment for injuries, information on legal rights and proceedings, referral to military and civilian shelters, and other resources. Victim Advocacy services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is a Confidential Restricted Reporting Option.
Adoption Services
The Staff Judge Advocate Client Services department provides legal assistance such as legal advice and assistance with paperwork drafting and review to Soldiers and their Families during the adoption process; however, in many cases, a civilian attorney is also needed. Additional resources include National Military Family Association and Administration for Children and Families.
Alabama Adult Abuse Hotline
The Alabama Adult Protective Services Division is to support and enable County Departments to protect elderly and disabled adults from abuse, neglect, and exploitation and prevent unnecessary institutionalization. To report adult abuse, individuals can contact the 24/7 Adult Abuse Hotline or local law enforcement.
Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence
The Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ACADV) is dedicated to serving victims of domestic violence. For assistance, call the toll-free 24-hour crisis line. Safe shelters across the state and many other services are available through ACADV.
Alabama Easter Seals
Easter Seals provides exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play.
Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind (AIDB)
A leader of diverse residential and community-based education, rehabilitation, and employment programs that prepare individuals who are deaf, blind, deafblind, and multidisabled to reach their potential in education, independence, and career.
Alabama Office of Child Protective Services
The Alabama Office of Child Protective Services provides the following functions for the Family Services Division of the Department of Human Resources: •Maintains the Central Registry on Child Abuse and Neglect •Applies for and monitors grants for protective services projects •Provides case consultation services Individual reports of child abuse should be made through county agencies; see website for county contact information.
Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problems and help others to recover from the alcohol abuse and the use of alcohol. This program is focused on spirituality and religion having an impact on changing a person's life. AA meets every Wednesday at The Commons on Fort Rucker. Information regarding additional AA meetings can be found at the Army Substance Abuse Program.
All in Credit Union
All in Credit Union offers a multitude of services including checking and savings accounts, loans, money market accounts, and more.  Additionally, ATM locations are also available at the following buildings: Soldier Service Center, Lyster Army Health Clinic, The Landing, PX, and Commissary.
American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society can provide information and locate cancer resources such as patient services, support groups, social services, medical equipment, transportation, wigs and prostheses, and financial programs.
American Heart Association CPR Training
CPR Training is offered by the American Heart Association including CPR Anytime, Family and Friends CPR, Heartsaver Courses, courses designed for Healthcare Professionals, and many more. Visit the American Heart Association website for a full listing of trainings as well as scheduled trainings in the local area. Additionally, Lyster Army Health Clinic offers American Heart Association CPR certification for Civilians and military personnel requiring CPR certification as part of their position. American Red Cross
American Red Cross serves as the link between military and civilian worlds, providing emergency communications between Soldiers and their Families, as well as the reporting service for emergency leave to include personal and other family issues. Emergency Leave and Army Emergency Relief are usually unavailable without Red Cross validation. To initiate a Red Cross Message, contact 1-877-272-7337 with the following information: • Who is the emergency regarding and what is their relationship to the Service Member (e.g., mother, father, brother, sister, grandparents)? • What type of emergency (e.g., death, illness, disaster, childcare breakdown, etc.)? • What is the location of the emergency? • When did the emergency occur? Is there a timetable of other events in conjunction with the emergency (such as funeral or other arrangements)? • Who is the local Point Of Contact, and how can they be reached (e.g. the name, relationship, and telephone number of a relative or friend in the area who knows details)?
Animal Health Center
Animal Health Center is a veterinary hospital offering preventive health care services, emergency services, and boarding and grooming services.
Annual Drinking Water Quality Report
The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is an annual drinking water quality report prepared by an organization that provides drinking water through a community water system. The US EPA requires that water purveyors for community water systems provide a CCR to their customers by July 1st every year. Information contained in the CCR includes the source of drinking water, applicable water quality requirements, and water system monitoring results for the previous year.

The Armed Forces Bank is located inside the Exchange as well as beside the Thrift Shop.

Army Community Service (ACS) provides a wide range of information and services for Soldiers and Family members. The program supports the ACS mission of building self-reliant Soldiers and Families as well as promotion readiness. Army Continuing Education Systems (ACES) The ACES mission promotes lifelong learning, readiness and resilience through flexible and relevant education programs, services and systems in support of the Total Army family. Army Family Action Plan
The Army Family Action Plan (AFAP) is a grassroots-level process that identifies issues of concern for the GLOBAL Army. AFAP is a program that gives everyone in the Army Family the opportunity to influence his/her own quality of life and standard of living. Fort Rucker hosts an annual AFAP conference that brings together representatives of the TOTAL ARMY FAMILY. These representatives, serving as conference delegates, evaluate, prioritize, and make recommendations on issues affecting the quality of life at Fort Rucker and throughout the Army. Issues are accepted by the AFAP Coordinator or through My Army OneSource, https://www.myarmyonesource.com, year round.
Army Family Team Building
Army Family Team Building is a series of classes that seeks to empower military personnel and Family members, maximizing their personal growth and professional development. The course modules are divided into three levels - Military Knowledge, Personal Growth and Resiliency, and Leadership Development; each level provides knowledge and tools to help individuals thrive, not just survive Army life.
Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP)
The Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) offers a wide range of prevention and education classes for Soldiers. ASAP has a professional staff, educated and training in the education, psychological, and sociological aspects of chemical dependency. Each treatment staff member is licensed and state certified in addictions counseling. Treatment consists of individual counseling, group therapy, couples counseling, family group therapy, educational classes, and relapse prevention techniques. Additional services and programs offered at the ASAP include Employee Assistance Program, Biochemical Testing, Risk Reduction Program, Drug and Alcohol Prevention, and Suicide Prevention.
Army Volunteer Corps
The Army Volunteer Corps focuses on supporting Fort Rucker Soldiers, Family members including surviving spouses, and Civilians through community involvement. Volunteer opportunities are available both on- and off-post. Individuals are matched to volunteer positions according to skill, experience, and time availability. Childcare is offered for some activities. Participants learn new skills, make friends, and become a part of the community. Volunteering can also be a wonderful way to gain job experience. Army Wellness Center
The Army Wellness Center (AWC) provides integrated and standardized primary prevention programs and services that promote enhanced and sustained healthy lifestyles to improve the overall wellbeing of Active Duty Service members, Dependents, Retirees, and DA/DoD Civilians. AWCs provide six evidence-based and standardized core programs that are achieved with state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained and credentialed staff. Programs include: 1) Health Assessment Review: an analysis of a person’s health status, risk for disease, and ability to increase physical activity safely; 2) Physical Fitness: state-of-the art equipment is used to assess cardiorespiratory capacity, body composition, muscular fitness, and flexibility, then an individualized exercise prescription can be created; 3) Healthy Nutrition: resting metabolic rate is measured via indirect calorimetry to provide tailored strategies for weight loss, gain, or maintenance; 4) Stress Management: Education in stress management, utilizing simple coping techniques and biofeedback technology; 5) General Wellness Education: classes on topics such as healthy lifestyles, “Healthy Sleep Habits,” increased resiliency, and preventing chronic disease through healthy living habits, and self-care; 6) Tobacco Education: an assessment of an individual’s readiness to change with a discussion of possible options for becoming tobacco-free.
Army Wounded Warrior Program (AW2)
The Army Wounded Warrior Program (AW2) is the official U.S. Army program that assists and advocates for severely wounded, ill and injured Soldiers, Veterans, and their Families, wherever they are located, regardless of military status. Soldiers who qualify for AW2 are assigned to the program as soon as possible after arriving at the Warrior Transition Unit (WTU). AW2 supports these Soldiers and their Families throughout their recovery and transition, even into Veteran status. Through the local support of AW2 Advocates, AW2 strives to foster the Soldier's independence.
Arts and Craft Center
The Arts and Craft Center is a one-stop-shop for crafty projects and personalized gifts! Arts and Craft Center services include framing, laser engraving, coin engraving, color sublimation, woodshop, pottery/ceramics, instructional programs, RV storage, Lemon Lot registration, and more.
Audiology
The Audiology Clinic provides routine screenings to: • evaluate basic hearing acuity; • complete audiometric evaluations and impedance audiometry to identify the degree and type of hearing loss and proper medical referral; • hearing aid evaluation procedures; • guidance and counseling for different types of hearing loss, use and care of hearing aids; • minor repair of hearing aids; • assessment of balance/vestibular disorders; and • electroacoustic analysis. A Newborn Hearing Screening Program is available for all babies eligible for care at Lyster Army Health Clinic. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) 1993 Consensus Statement recommends that all infants be screened for hearing impairment within the first 3 months of life. Hearing conservation and medical fitting of pre-formed hearing protection is completed on an annual basis for all military personnel at Ft. Rucker. Additionally, the Audiologist provides health education classes upon request.
Automotive Skills Center
The Fort Rucker Automotive Skills Center has the equipment needed to save money on do-it-yourself car maintenance and repair. At the Automotive Skills Center, individuals have access to on-site trained instruction, assistance, tools, and equipment. Additionally, the Automotive Skills Center has a mechanic for hire program, which can save Families money in labor fees for automotive repair. The center also has a technical reference center offering Mitchell On Demand software and an ALLDATA subscription available for patrons to access "how-to" automotive information, labor estimates, technical service bulletins, and recalls. The 26 bay center has 13 lifts, 12 flat bays (non-lift) - six located inside the main building and five sheltered bays outside the main building, a paint booth, and body bay. The Automotive Skills Center is easily accessible to Soldiers and their Families with operational hours structured to meet their needs.

The AAFES Barber Shop is located in the Exchange/PX and offers barber services.

Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS)
Fort Rucker's Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) is a program that supports the overall Quality of Life (QOL) for single and unaccompanied Soldiers. It supports the chain of command by identifying QOL issues and concerns and providing recommendations for QOL improvement. It also encouraged and assists single Soldiers in identifying and planning for innovative and fun-filled recreational and leisure activities as well as community service projects. BOSS program eligibility and participation is open to all single Soldiers, which is defined as all unmarried, divorced, widowed, and unaccompanied Soldiers, to include single parent Soldiers. BOSS sponsored events may be open to all, with preference and priority to single Soldiers. Council and event planning meetings are open to all Soldiers and organizations that would like to participate in BOSS; meetings cover QOL issues, community service projects, and leisure activities and trips, and weekly meetings ensure the voice of
Blue Star Card
The Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Deployed Military/Civilian Spouse or Guardian's Blue Star Card Program is a DFMWR discount and activity card for Spouses or Guardians of children of Soldiers/DOD civilians who are currently on a 6 month or more deployment or extended overseas TDY and/or on an unaccompanied PCS assignment. Blue Star Card Program includes discounts at DFMWR facilities and Child and Youth Services programs as well as opportunities for Family members and guardians to interact in activities while their Soldier is away.
Brown Dental Clinic
The Fort Rucker Dental Clinic Command provides dental examinations, treatment, and consultations for Active Duty Services members. Other than active duty, patients will receive care on a stand-by basis. Emergency care (e.g., relief from swelling, severe pain, trauma, or bleeding) will be provided for OTAD patients at all times. Additionally, military personnel can request after-hours emergency dental care by contacting the Triage Nurse at 334-255-7151.

Casualty Assistance Center
The Casualty Assistance Center provides compassionate, unwavering support to Families of our deceased, wounded, and unaccounted-for Soldiers; while ensuring plans, programs, policies, and systems remain updated in order to provide timely and accurate information and set the conditions for success. Additionally, the Casualty Assistance Center assists Active Duty Soldiers in the event of the loss of a spouse or child.
Center Library
The Center Library is your resource for knowledge, communication, and entertainment. Library accounts are available for all military and government civilian ID card holders. The library has 22 high-speed public access internet computers, high speed Wi-Fi for laptops, copying services, individual study areas, and a digital scanner. Center Library offers free FAX serve to all toll free and DSN numbers as well as incoming FAX service at a nominal fee. The Special Activities Room is available for groups of up to 50 people by reservation. The Center Library offers free monthly and seasonal programming for community children as well as special activities, story time, and guest speaker events. The Center Library is also proud to offer its patrons free reference assistance for all personal and academic research requirements and access to online databases through the library's catalog. Inter-library loan services are offered on a case-by-case basis.
Chaplain and Religious Support Office
The chaplains and staff at Fort Rucker promote religious life by providing religious activities and programs, pastoral care, and counseling, religious education opportunities, and other ceremonies such as baptisms, marriage, and funerals. A full list of Worship Services is listed on the Chaplain and Religious Support Office website. Additionally, several support groups and bible studies are offered as well as a P31; times and locations are listed on the Chaplain and Religious Support Office website. Unit Chaplains are also available.
Child Development Center (CDC)
The CDC offers a nurturing staff, balanced, nutritional meals, and age-appropriate activities and curriculum. All staff members are CPR, First Aid, emergency medication, and special needs trained.
Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline
The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453) is dedicated to the prevention of child abuse. Serving the United States, its territories, and Canada, the hotline is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with professional crisis counselors who, through interpreters, can provide assistance in over 200 languages. The hotline offers crisis intervention, information, literature, and referrals to thousands of emergency, social service, and support resources. All calls are confidential.
Claims
The Staff Judge Advocate Client Services processes the claims of military and Civilian employees for damage to household goods during government-sponsored moves and for damage to personal property on the installation. The Claims Division also investigates and processes tort claims against the government and pursues recoveries from third parties on behalf of the U.S. Army and USAACE as well as prepares litigation reports and responsive pleadings for the U.S. Attorney and Army Litigation Division. Prior to filing a personnel claim with the Claims Division (for damage to personal property by a government-sponsored move), claimants must visit the Transportation Office and/or file their claim through the Defense Personal Property System (DPS) under move.mil first.
Class Six
The Class Six offers beer, wine, and liquor sales.
Coffee County Driver's License Office
The Coffee County Driver’s License Office issues licenses and learner’s permits required to operate a motor vehicle, I.D. cards to non-drivers who are county residents, and voter registration applications available at all locations; no test is required if current license is valid.
Coffee County Schools
Area school; serving students living off-post. The school system serves Kingston, New Brockton, and Zion Chapel Schools and includes one Elementary School and three High Schools.
Commissary
The Fort Rucker Commissary offers bakery, deli, fresh sandwiches to go, sushi, rotisserie chicken, plants, and an ATM as well as a varied selection of grocery items.
Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness (CSF2) Performance Training
Performance Training enhances mental agility and adaptability throughout one's life, leading to optimal performance and personal readiness. R2 Training Centers provide performance skills that include instruction in mental skills foundations, confidence building, effective goal setting, attention control, energy management and imagery.
Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness (CSF2) Academic Performance Training
Academic Performance Training (APT) includes skills that help optimize classroom performance and maximize academic results. The R2 Training Center customized training options include planning and prioritizing time, the Study Power Hour, memory and recall improvement, effective note taking, reading efficiency, effective study partnerships, and combating test anxiety.
Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness (CSF2) Resilience Training
Resilience is the “mental, emotional, and behavioral ability to face and cope with adversity, adapt to change, and recover, learn and grow from setbacks." R2 Training Centers provide resilience skills that build self-awareness, self-regulation, optimistic and adaptive thinking, character strengths, and stronger relationships, thereby contributing to personal readiness.
Corvias Military Living (On-Post Housing)

Deployment Health Assessments
Deployment Health Assessments (DHAs) are designed to identify and address health concerns at specific concern specific times in the deployment cycle and thus they should be completed in the windows identified below. The Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 6490.03 guides the service in this area. • Pre-Deployment Health Assessment (DD Form 2795): Complete within 60 days of expected deployment dates. • Post-Deployment Assessment (DD Form 2796): Complete no earlier than 30 days before the expected redeployment date and no later than 30 days after redeployment. • Post-Deployment Assessment (DD Form 2900): Complete 90-180 days after redeployment. Resiliency training coincides with these assessments to maximize the effectiveness of the assessments and Soldier well-being. Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a variety of program services to address various problems/issues/concerns; primarily focused at alleviating issues that affect Civilian employees' ability to conduct their job. EAP services include, but are not limited to, assessment, short-term counseling and coaching, prevention education services, and referral to off-site providers, when necessary. The EAP also provides employee-supervisor consultation, guidance, advice, and mediation to minimize issues affecting the employee-supervisor working relationship and agency's productivity. These services are provided to sustain productivity, reduce employee absenteeism, and provide a safe and secure work environment, while ensuring the Army's mission is accomplished in the most efficient manner. Fire and Emergency Services Division
The Fire and Emergency Services Division, the largest fire department in the Army, serves Fort Rucker, their training site, and the Wiregrass area when communities request mutual aid and assistance. This division provides emergency services such as fire suppression and prevention, crash and rescue operations, hazardous material accidents, heavy extrication mission, high-angle, and confined-space rescues, high-rise structure maneuvers, and advanced life support paramedic operations. The department also offers Child Safety Seat Inspections, Extinguisher Inspections, fire prevention public education, facility manager training, information at Newcomer’s Brief, station tours, home inspections of FCC providers, and walk-in blood pressure checks. The fire prevention section personnel also visits area schools on- and off-post to show the “Little People’s Fire House” and to explain fire prevention with such characters as “Smokey the Bear” and “Sparky the Dog.”

The Housing Services Office provides personalized assistance and instruction to Service members and their Families on the Automated Housing Referral Network. The HSO counsels customers on customary real estate practices for Fort Rucker, rights and responsibilities of the landlord and tenants, standards of conduct and Equal Opportunity in off-post housing. Fort Rucker Physical Fitness Center
The Fort Rucker Physical Fitness Center is a 64,000 square foot facility offering a variety of cardiovascular equipment ranging from treadmills to Concept2 rowers, LifeFitness selectorized equipment, and a free weight and dumbbell area with a Hammer Strength circuit. Additionally, it features a Functional Fitness Area equipped with power racks, lifting platforms, bumper plates, Olympic bars and plates, TRX bands, agility ladders, climbing ropes, and pull up bars. The Fort Rucker Physical Fitness Center hosts a variety of fitness programs and events including personal training, group fitness, competitive running events, weight lifting competitions and health promotion events. Fort Rucker Veterinary Facility
Fort Rucker Veterinary Facility (VTF) examines, immunizes, and treats privately-owned animals. All animals housed on-post must be registered at the VTF within three days of arrival and must be microchipped. Pets are seen by appointment only and must be preregistered.
Fort Rucker Wounded Warrior Recreation
Fort Rucker Wounded Warrior Recreation provides Wounded Warriors and handicapped hunters with specialized hunting and recreational equipment at Fort Rucker; this equipment makes hunting more accessible for hunters with physical limitations. The Fort Rucker Outdoor Recreation department secured the equipment from monies raised during past Wounded Warrior Fall Hunts. Additionally, a specially designed, customized Rhino boat was purchased with funds raised during the 2012 Wounded Warrior Hunt. The boat, named "The Warrior," has been completely customized to fit the needs of a physically disabled person to be able to operate the 8 passenger boat or be a passenger on the boat. Patrons can coordinate with Fort Rucker Outdoor Recreation Service Center for assistance with using the equipment. Patrons wanting to utilize the boat must complete the Fort Rucker Boater Safety Course. Additionally, a separate safety brief is given to all patrons before the boat is released.
Fortenberry-Colton Physical Fitness Center
The Fortenberry-Colton Physical Fitness Center (PFC) is a 21,400 square foot facility that boasts top-of-the-line LifeFitness cardiovascular equipment, Strive selectorized strength equipment, and LifeFitness free weights. The facility includes a fitness room offering Cardio Theater for televisions viewing, regulation basketball court, two practice courts, two volleyball courts, and a group fitness room. Also available is a 28-foot climbing wall with four auto-belay systems and four manual belays, which allows four people to climb simultaneously. Hearts Apart
The Hearts Apart Program is a group sponsored by Army Community Services designed to help Families cope with separation due to an unaccompanied tour, TDY, PCS, or deployment. The group meets on a monthly basis to provide support to its members in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere; participation is strictly voluntary. Spouses also receive a monthly courtesy call. Soldiers whose Families plan to remain in on-post housing are highly encouraged to attend the initial Hearts Apart brief with their spouse and assigned sponsor; briefings are by appointment only due to limited seating. Additionally, spouses of Soldiers who are deployed or on an unaccompanied tour, qualify for the Blue Star Card program.

Inspector General
The Inspector General assesses and reports to the Commanding General on matters affecting the performance of the mission and state of the command to include efficiency, discipline, morale, esprit de corps, and readiness. IGs operate within an environment consisting of commanders, Soldiers, Family members, Civilians, Retirees, and other civilians needing assistance with an Army matter and the IG system. Local Air Quality Information
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a tool to communicate the status of local air quality to the public—the Air Quality Index (AQI). The AQI is derived from real-time air pollution measurements taken at monitoring stations throughout the United States. The AQI has three components: a color, a score and a health message recommending protective action based on the level of air pollution. The Family Advocacy Program (FAP), co-located in Behavioral Health, provides treatment services for individuals and families struggling with domestic violence and child abuse including situations where abuse has not occurred, but individuals or families are "at risk" and require counseling to improve familial relationships.
Lyster Army Health Clinic Medical Evaluations - PEBLO (Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer)
The appointed Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer (PEBLO) at Lyster Army Health Clinic is responsible for counseling Soldiers (or the next of kin or legal guardian in appropriate cases) concerning their rights and privileges at each step in disability evaluation, beginning with the decision of the treating physician to refer the Solider to a MEBD and until final disposition is accomplished. An experienced, qualified noncommissioned officer (NCO) or civilian employee designated by the MTF Commander. Counseling will cover as a minimum the following areas: legal rights (including the sequence of and the nature of disability processing); effects and recommendations of MEBD and PEB findings; estimated disability retired or severance pay (after receipt of PEB finding and recommendations); probably grade upon retirement; potential veteran’s benefits; recourse to and preparation of rebuttals to PEB findings and recommendations; Disabled Veterans Outreach Program; and post-retirement insurance programs and the Survivor Benefit Plan.

Lyster Exceptional Family Member Program
The EFMP is a mandatory enrollment program, based on carefully defined rules. EFMP works with other military and civilian agencies to provide comprehensive and coordinated medical, educational, housing, community support and personnel services to Families with special needs. Military Family Life Counselors
The Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) program provides Soldiers, their Families, and Civilians the opportunity to seek free, short-term, confidential counseling services in the areas of anger management, communication, relationship issues, relationship building, conflict resolution, parenting, and decision making skills, and no records are maintained. Additionally, 110th Aviation Brigade, 1st Aviation Brigade, Warrant Officer Career College, 164th TAOG, and Fort Rucker Garrison/Army Community Services have embedded MFLC personnel who can provide additional information as well as trainings on various topics.

Military OneSource Counseling Services
Military OneSource offers three kinds of short-term, non-medical counseling options to Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve Service members and their Families. Military OneSource counseling services are designed to provide service help with short-term issues such as adjustment to situational stressors, stress management decision making, communication, grief, blended family issues, and parenting skills issues. Counseling sessions can be arranged face-to-face, telephonically, or online consultations.
Military Personnel and Services Division (DEERS)
Military Personal and Services Division issues all ID cards for Soldiers, their Families, Retirees, Civilians, and contractors. To receive an ID card, all customers 21 and older must have two unexpired forms of ID to get a new ID. When adding a spouse to DEERS, the sponsor needs to bring the following original documents or certified copies: marriage certificate, birth certificate, social security card, and a photo ID. For dependent ID cards, the sponsor must be present to sign DD Form 1172. When adding a child to DEERS, the sponsor must have the following original documents or certified copies: birth certificate and social security card. If a stepchild is being added, the marriage certificate is also needed. Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4pm will be set aside for appointments only. The ID Cards/DEERS section is an appointment based system. Appointment can be scheduled 120 days prior to card expiration. Cards can be renewed 90 days prior to expiration. Military Police/Department of the Army Civilian Police (DACP)
"Fort Rucker Military Police and DACPs assist military personnel, Civilians, visitors, and Families on-post around the clock including 24-hour patrolling of post, traffic enforcement, investigations, and physical security inspections. Contact the military police (MPs) to report any and all suspected crimes including rape/sexual assault, vandalization of property, etc. Individuals who use or store firearms on-post must register them at the MP Station. Weapons registrations must be updated every five years. Weapons may be stored in Family housing, BOQ or BEQ, or places of storage at designated firing ranges or hunting areas. Concealed weapons carried on individuals, transported in vehicles, or stored in vehicles are prohibited. The Community Police Section educates community youth on protecting themselves from molestation and abduction, conducts drug awareness training such as DARE, conducts an annual bicycle rodeo to stress bicycle safety and update on-post bicycle registration, and Officer McGruff Safe House program. Additionally, through operation IDENT-A-KID, parents are provided with photographs and fingerprint cards of their children.
Mobilization and Deployment Readiness Program
The Mobilization and Deployment Readiness Program (MDRP) provides assistance and support to Families of Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard forces as well as emergency essential Civilians to support military operations, deployments or mobilization to enhance unit cohesion and increase readiness. MDRP is responsible for pre-deployment, mobilization, deployment, and redeployment briefings as well as support to Soldiers, Civilians, and Families.

Motorcycle Safety Program Course
Soldiers who ride motorcycles must attend a motorcycle safety course and obtain a motorcycle safety foundation card. The Fort Rucker Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (DFMWR) offers the Never Forgotten Card, a discount and activity card for Families (spouses, children, parents, and siblings under the age of 18) of Fallen Service members. The Never Forgotten Card program includes everyday benefits including an extra discount at on- and off-post facilities. The Never Forgotten Card is provided in recognition of the sacrifices of Survivors and demonstrates our commitment to provide quality programs and services to help enhance quality of life.

Outdoor Recreation Service Center
Outdoor Recreation is located on the West Beach of Lake Tholocco; offering numerous recreational activities including boating, skiing, and swimming (seasonally from May to September). Facilities include four fishing piers, beaches, pavilions, and clean restrooms. Additionally, recreational equipment such as camping and sporting equipment, boats and water sport equipment, and hunting equipment is available for rental on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Out-processing
Soldiers attend a levy briefing resulting in publication of Permanent Change of Station orders; after which, Soldiers come to Rm. 280 in the Soldier Service Center with unit clearance papers, a copy of DA Form 31 (Leave Form) and orders to obtain installation clearance papers. All enlisted trainees and students will be notified of PCS assignments three weeks before graduation and will have PCS orders published no later than two weeks before graduation, unless the Soldier does not have a valid security clearance (DD Form 873) on file, or the unit has notified MPD of a Soldier being placed on hold status for any reason. Note: Enlisted trainees and students will not have PCS orders published until such time as they receive a valid security clearance in hand. Orders will be published by the next duty day after MPD receives the security clearance.

Area school; serving students living off-post. The Ozark City School system is comprised of Lisenby Elementary, Mixon Elementary, D.A. Smith Middle School, and Carroll High School and Career Center. Student enrollment is approximately 2600 students. All schools in Ozark are fully accredited by SACS/CASI.

Parent Central Services
Parent Central Services offers assistance to Families in locating childcare for their specific needs for both traditional and non-traditional childcare and maintains several facilities on the installation for childcare purposes. Registration and enrollment of children in all CYSS programs is done at Parent Central Services. Additionally, Parent Central Services oversees the Family Advisory Council Board, which is held on a quarterly basis.
Patient Administration
Medical Records: 334-255-7110 and 334-255-7109 All medical records are maintained in the Medical Records Branch. A valid ID card is required to obtain medical records. CHCS Registration: 334-255-7056 and 334-255-7236 Registration into CHCS (Composite Health Care System) is required for everyone receiving care at this facility. Registration may be completed at the Patient Service Center, located just inside the main entrance of the clinic. Release of Information: 334-255-7242, 334-22-7239, 334-255-7225, and 334-255-7435 The Release of Information Branch is responsible for issuing copies of an individual's medical record to either the individual, another military treatment facility, or to civilian facilities. Individuals are asked to sign a release, DD 2870, which gives the government permission to release the information that is being requested. A valid ID card is required when making request. Requests for out-processing/VA benefits should be submitted at least two months prior to
Patient Advocate
The Patient Advocacy Office, located in Rm J- 125, serves as a liaison between patients or their families and Lyster Army Health Clinic staff. The Patient Advocate assists to find solutions to problems or misunderstandings, voice concerns, obtain timely and relevant information or offer compliments and make suggestions. Most problems and concerns are best resolved in the department, clinic or area providing care. Therefore, it is suggested patients first talk with the Head Nurse (HN), Noncommissioned Officer-in-Charge (NCOIC) or Officer-in-Charge (OIC). Additionally, Lyster Army Health Clinic is accredited by the Joint Commission. If the care or safety concern(s) are not resolved satisfactorily, individuals can contact the Joint Commission Office of Quality Monitoring at (800) 994 - 6610 or via e-mail at complaint@jointcommission.org.

Lyster Army Health Clinic Patient Service Center services include enrollment, primary care manager changes, claims assistance, benefit counseling, assistance in finding a network providers, and referral and authorization assistance.
Pharmacy
Refill Policies Patients must use the refill call-in service for prescription refills. The mandatory prescription refill policy provides an opportunity for the pharmacy to better serve our beneficiaries by reducing wait times and allows USAAMC Pharmacy to distribute the prescription workload throughout the day; prescription refills can be filled quickly and accurately during non-peak hours of operation and may be picked up at the refill window. Additionally, this allows more time to talk to the pharmacist regarding any concerns or problems with your medications. Dispensing Policies Most chronic medications can be filled with up to a three-month supply if deemed appropriate by the individual’s physician. Prescriptions over one year old from the date they are first written are considered expired and require a new prescription. Patients will need their military ID card to pick-up their prescription(s). Preventive Medicine houses Community Health Nursing, Wellness Center/Health Promotion, Environmental Health, and Industrial Hygiene. Lyster’s Patient Centers Medical Home Primary Care Clinics are Army Medical Homes with an interdisciplinary approach to delivering evidence-based, comprehensive primary care- coordinating care setting and proactively engaging patients as partners in health. Public Safety and Installation Provost Marshal
Fort Rucker Directorate of Public Safety (DPS) and Provost Marshal provide community based police, fire, and security services to protect Soldiers, Families, and Civilians by conducting law enforcement operations, anti-terrorism and force protection operations, fire emergency response, and crash rescue support on Fort Rucker. DPS provides oversight for the community police section and fire and emergency service divisions.
Radiology
The Radiology Department provides quality state-of-the-art Digital Diagnostic Radiology, Open MRI, CT and Bone Density services for our beneficiaries (Active duty personnel and family members, TRICARE PRIME patients, TRICARE PLUS PATIENTS, and VA patients) in Southeastern Alabama and the surrounding area.
Ready and Resilient (R2) Performance Center
Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness (CSF2) is designed to build resilience and enhance performance of the Total Army – Soldiers, their Families, and Civilians. CSF2 does this by providing training and self-development tools so that members of the Total Army are better able to cope with adversity, perform better in stressful situations, and thrive in life. CSF2 is an integral part of the Army’s Ready and Resilient Campaign, a campaign that promotes personal readiness and optimizes human performance. Scientific research shows that resilience can be taught and resilient Soldiers, Families, and Civilians perform better, which results in improved unit and mission readiness. The Fort Rucker CSF2 Training Center provides Resilience and Performance Training; primarily focusing on MRT Level I training.
Recycling Center
The Fort Rucker Recycling Center accepts aluminum cans, cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, glass, printer and toner cartridges, metal, wood, used cell phones, electronics, used antifreeze, used oil, fluorescent light bulbs and plastic bags. Additionally, the Recycling Center offers an incentive program that pays organizations with DFMWR funds for bringing SEGREGATED recyclables to the Recycling Center.

Retirement Services Office
The Fort Rucker Retirement Services Office (RSO) provides information on benefits and entitlements to Active Duty Soldiers and their Families preparing for retirement. RSO provides counsel and support to Active Duty personnel, Family member, Retirees, and their Family members on the Survivor Benefit Plan program. RSO also published an annual Retiree newsletter and works in conjunction with the Retiree Council to host the installation’s annual Retiree Appreciation Day.
Riding Stables
The Fort Rucker Riding Stables is surrounded by over 10,000 acres of beautifully wooded trails. The complex includes a clubhouse with bathroom facilities and an emergency phone. Four community pastures, hay barn, 40 duplex barns with individual tack rooms and paddocks are available on-site as well as 67 stalls for transient and show horses. The Fort Rucker Riding Stables has two regulation dressage rings and two breaking pens. A lighted western arena and lighted jump/show arena, covered farriers' shed and double wash stalls with warm water are also available to patrons. Hay and stall bedding may be purchased from the Fort Rucker Riding Stables office. Additionally, a convenient flexible feed service program is offered to patrons.

Starting September 28th, we offer iPlay iWin electronic bingo for your enjoyment at The Landing Zone five days a week from 7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Players can win up to $6,000 instantly. Our hand-held, easy-to-play system allows all eligible patrons and their guests to purchase cards and try their luck. Enjoy playing bingo at your own leisure. Just ask our friendly staff at the cashier counter and they will get you started. The device comes pre-loaded with the number of Bingo cards you request. Rucker Lanes Bowling Center
Rucker Lanes Bowling Center has 20 lanes with automatic scorers, a pro shop, lockers, shoe rental, snack bar, and video games. Open bowling and bumper bowling for children 3 -10 is available year round. Rucker Lanes also provides services for birthday parties, unit functions, and Hail and Farewells.

Dothan Police and Fort Rucker Fire Department provide car seat safety inspections.
School Age Center (SAC)
The SAC provides before and/or afterschool care for children in 1st-5th grade. Full-day care is provided during school vacation periods. The School Age Service program is certified by the Department of Defense and accredited by the National Afterschool Association. The curriculum is based on the following service areas: Sports, Fitness, and Health; Life Skills, Citizenship, and Leadership; Arts, Recreation, and Leisure; and Mentoring, Education, and Support Services. Occasional users may use the program twice a week, but no more than 8 times a month. Open recreation is available for SAC members on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 1-6pm.
School Support Services
The School Liaison Officer (SLO) assists parents with information and advocates on behalf of the student at both on- and off-post schools. The SLO assists with school transition support services, Partnerships in Education, installation and school communications, local school information, home school linkage, scholarship information and opportunities, and post-secondary preparation opportunities.
Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP)
The Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Program (SHARP) reinforces the Army's commitment to eliminate incidents of sexual assault through a comprehensive policy that centers on awareness and prevention, training and education, victim advocacy, response, reporting, and accountability. Additionally, the policy promotes sensitive care and confidential reporting for victims of sexual assault and accountability for those who commit these crimes. Individual Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs) are assigned to individual brigades.
Silver Wings Golf Course
Silver Wings Golf Course is a 27-hole championship facility. The course has outstanding champion Bermuda greens and one of the most challenging layouts in the region. The fairways are tree-lined with numerous hardwoods and pines that gently roll through different elevation changes. The facility also boasts a fully stocked Golf Pro Shop, Divots Restaurant and Grille, meeting and banquet rooms, and a 300 yard long lit practice range. The facility is open to the public and offers several types of membership opportunities; membership includes unlimited green fees, advanced tee times, Golf Pro Shop merchandise discounts, members-only tournaments, discounted outside tournament fees, complimentary USGA GHIN handicap, and reduced room fees and food minimums in Divots' banquet room.
SKIES Unlimited Instructional Program
SKIES Unlimited is an acronym for "Schools of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration, and Skills" with the word "Unlimited" for the unlimited possibilities this program can offer Army children and youth. SKIES Unlimited encompasses instructional programs for children and youth ranging from twelve months to adolescence. Through SKIES Unlimited, children and youth in the Child Development Center, School Age Center, Youth Center, and Home Schooling have equal access to opportunities that expand their knowledge, inspire them, allow them to explore, and acquire new skills. SKIES Unlimited programs include Dance, Gymnastic, Tae Kwon Do, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Cheer, Tutoring, Golf, and Tennis and Swim Lessons. Parents can enroll their children in the SKIES Unlimited program through Parent Central Services.
Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program
Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program (SLF-TAP), formerly Army Career and Alumni Program, delivers top-quality customer service to Fort Rucker clients; aiding them in understanding their benefits and meeting their individual transition and job assistance needs. SLF-TAP provides transition and employment services to Soldiers and their adult Family members who are transitioning from Active Duty, Veterans, Retirees, and DOD Civilians in a Reduction in Force status. Pre-separation planning includes benefits information, job search skills development, career guidance, job search assistance, and other guidance relevant to a thorough transition. The program offers a 5-day TAP Employment Workshop, offered Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm, designed to teach individuals how to job search and is useful for the duration of one's life. Spectra Care Health Systems is a regional community-based health system that provides mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual disability services in Southeast Alabama in Barbour, Dale, Geneva, Henry, and Houston Counties.
Spiritual Life Center
The Spiritual Life Center houses the Family Life Chaplain, who provides conflict resolution, anger management, personal, couples, death/grief and loss, and deployment readiness counseling. Counseling hours and locations are flexible according to needs and available staff. Likewise, the Spiritual Life Centers offers a variety of training opportunities and events such as personal and relationship training with "Strong Bonds," stewardship training that utilizes curriculum such as "Financial Peace University," and other opportunities and training as needed. Additionally, the chaplains offer "Marriage 101," a pre-marital workshop for those seeking to be married on-post.
SPLASH! Pool and Spray Park
SPLASH! Spray Park is the perfect location for youth to get wet and cool off. Parents can enjoy the play time of their youth in one of many lounge chairs in the area. SPLASH! Is open during the summer season and can be rented for private parties. Additionally, daily and season passes can be purchased at SPLASH!, MWR Central, and Fort Rucker Physical Fitness Center.
Staff Judge Advocate General (JAG)
The Staff Judge Advocate General provides legal assistance and advice on: • Adoptions • Claims • Separation, Divorce, and Child Custody • Power of Attorney and Wills – both General and Special POA • Trusts • Estates • Taxes • Name Changes • Notarizations Additional areas of discipline include: military justice, administrative and civil law (including contracts and labor laws), claims, and operational law.
State Environmental Health Laboratory
State Environmental Health Laboratory supports statewide environmental health protection monitoring by performing analyses for chemical, microbiological, and radiological testing, biomonitoring of water, wastewater, air, soil, hazardous wastes, and other environmental concerns. Many state environmental health laboratories are associated with that state’s public health laboratory.
State Epidemiologist
State epidemiologist is responsible for the identification and response for all health threats that occur within the state. This individual is selected by each state’s primary health official (usually the state health department director), or the state board of health. A state epidemiologist is usually responsible for each state’s infectious disease epidemiology program, often along with many other state health agency programs involved in disease detection and prevention.
State Public Health Laboratory
State Health Department Laboratory, conducts laboratory testing for most all analysis requirements for public health surveillance. This may include monitoring and detection testing for environmental health, food safety, infectious diseases, newborn screening, public health preparedness, radiation safety, and many other tests. All state public health laboratories are part of the National Laboratory Network, and respond to novel strains of disease, natural disasters, chemical spills, foodborne outbreaks, and other public health emergencies.
Suicide Prevention Program (Prevention ONLY)
The Suicide Prevention Program, managed by the Suicide Prevention Program Manager, provides suicide prevention training to Soldiers, Families, and Civilians.
Tax Center
The Tax Center – Staff Judge Advocate Client Services offers free federal and state income tax preparation and electronic filing for Active Duty Soldiers, dependents, and Retirees during tax season (January to April).
Teen Babysitter Training
Fort Rucker Child, Youth and School Services offers a course that educates teens on basic childcare, infant care, diaper changing, home and fire safety, child abuse, CPR and first aid along with other essential child care procedures. Participants must be Child Youth and School Services members. Contact Parent Central Services for additional information.
The Cleaners
The Cleaners offer dry cleaning services to Fort Rucker personnel.
The Coffee Zone
The Coffee Zone serves hot and cold Starbucks specialty beverages and regular brewed coffee as well as monthly drink specials. The Coffee Zone has three locations - Soldier Service Center (SSC), Lyster Army Health Clinic (LAHC), and The Landing Zone; hours of operation are dependent on the location. Additionally, the SSC and LAHC locations serve fresh pastries, yogurt parfaits, wraps, and paninis. The Coffee Zone also features a Rewards Card and Double Stamp Wednesdays!
The Landing
The Landing offers a top of the line facility to serve the Fort Rucker and surrounding communities. The Landing can accommodate parties, proms, hail and farewells, weddings, and more special events. Additionally, housing in The Landing are the Landing Zone Grill and Bar, The Coffee Zone, Five Star Catering, and Cobra Bingo.
The Landing Zone Grill and Bar
The LZ, short for the Landing Zone Grill and Bar is located inside The Landing at Fort Rucker (formerly the Officers' Club). The LZ offers a fantastic, casual dining experience for both lunch and dinner and features a full-service bar.
Tot Time Playgroup
Army Community Services New Parent Support Program (NPSP) holds Tot Time Playgroup every Wednesdays from 9:30-11am for children 17 to 36 months at The Commons. Participants must register at the NPSP office in Building 5700 Room 371-G, Soldier Service Center; a copy of the child’s immunization records must be provided.
Total Army Sponsorship
All Soldiers are required to complete Sponsor Training on the ALMS website in AKO. Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors
Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) provides on-going emotional help, hope, and healing to all who are grieving the death of a loved in military service, regardless of relationship to the deceased, geography, or circumstance of the death. TAPS meets it mission by providing peer-based support, crisis care, casualty casework assistance, and grief and trauma resources.
Transition Center
The Fort Rucker Transition Center is responsible for separating all Soldiers (all types of separations including, but not limited to ETS, disability separations, retirement, disability retirement, and administrative separations). Separating Soldiers received orders, DD Form 214, and other associated documents pertaining to separations by ETS, chapter discharge, or retirement.
Transportation Office
The Transportation Office provides assistance with arrangements to ship household goods and pets, arrange port calls, passenger travel, and passports.
Triangle Express - Shoppette
The Triangle Express -Shoppette offers 24hr gas and convenience store items.
TRICARE
TRICARE is the health care program for Uniformed Service Members and their Families. Tricare provides comprehensive coverage to all beneficiaries, dependent upon individual health plans, including: • Special programs/services • Prescriptions • Dental plans Additionally, most TRICARE health plans meet the requirements for minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act.
TRICARE Dental Program
The TRICARE Dental Program is a voluntary dental plan available to Family members of Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve Service members. The TRICARE Dental Program covers: • Exams, cleanings, fluorides, sealants, and X-rays • Fillings, including white fillings on back teeth • Root canals • Gum surgery • Oral surgery and tooth extractions • Crowns and dentures • Orthodontics and braces • Scaling and root planning (deep cleaning) for diabetics • Additional cleaning for pregnant women
U.S. Army Aviation Technical Library
The U.S. Army Aviation Technical Library is a mission support activity service the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence and supports Army Aviation warfighters around the world. The library provides in-depth academic and technical library reference support, research assistance, and interlibrary loan services to all Active Duty military and civilian personnel at USAACE. Army Aviation personnel world-wide can also request information and assistance through email and the Army Knowledge Online QuestionPoint service.
Unaccompanied Personnel Housing
Only singled Soldiers E1 through E5 without dependents are authorized barracks space on Fort Rucker. Most barracks space house two Soldiers and usual no choice is given. The rooms are furnished. Soldiers geographically separated from their Families are not authorized to live in the FSBP. Single Soldiers E6 and above without dependents are allowed to live in on-post housing areas or can choose to live off-post.
Utilities Clearing House
The Utilities Clearing House staff assists individuals living in on-post housing with electricity, cable television, and telephone service orders.
VA Wiregrass Clinic
VA Wiregrass Clinic offers the following services: • Outpatient Clinic for Veterans; primary care services including Lab and X-ray services • Handicap Accessible • Highly qualified providers and specialty care referrals to the Tuskegee East Campus • Prescriptions processed through the mail or MyHealtheVet.
Vivian B. Adams School
Area school; providing educational opportunities for mentally and physically disabled individuals in southeast Alabama. Vivian B. Adams School provides services for all age groups. The school is an extended-year program, providing services twelve months of the year.
Warrior Adventure Quest
Soldiers can participate in a high-adventure outdoor recreation program that will assist in Soldier re-integration, maintaining combat readiness and increasing unit cohesion. Warrior Adventure Quest is only open to Active Duty Soldiers who have returned from deployment. Warrior Adventure Quest activities include: white water rafting, zip lining, deep sea fishing, paintball, and 4-man scramble golf.
Weapons Registration
Individuals who use or store firearms on-post must register them at the MP Station. Weapons registrations must be updated every five years. Weapons may be stored in Family housing, BOQ or BEQ, or places of storage at designated firing ranges or hunting areas. Concealed weapons carried on individuals, routinely transported in vehicles, or stored in vehicles are prohibited.
Welcome Home Catering
Welcome Home Catering offers catering services for a wide range of events including formal banquets, balls, weddings, business lunches, and more. Five Star Catering services include customized menus, table linens, and full service bars; additional rental items such as chiavair chairs, stages, and dance floors are also available. Catering is available both on and off post; however off post catering is limited to a 90 mile radius. Contact the catering office to schedule a free consultation!

Youth Center
The Youth Center offers a wide range of programs for children in 6th-12 grade, offering fun-filled afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Free Middle School Teen (MST) programs are offered daily afterschool and in the afternoons during the summer. MST morning camps are also offered at a nominal fee during the summer to complement the free afternoon program.
Youth Sports and Fitness
The Youth Sports and Fitness program offers a wide range of opportunities for participation in sports, as well as fitness and health and outreach activities. The program employs a philosophy of "fun, fundamental, and maximum participation." Maintaining league standings, win and loss statistics, and emphasizing winning at all cost defeats the idea that a child's growth and development can be enriched by participating in sports activities.
