With snow-making capabilities, Birch Hill is the first hill in the interior to open and boasts the only night-skiing venue in the Fairbanks area. Chena Bend Clubhouse
Chena Bend Golf Course, the "Farthest North Military Course", is a 6,476 yard, par-72, 18-hole course. It is nestled between the east end of the Fort Wainwright airfield and the Chena River, with several holes running along the river. School Age Center (SAC)
SAC is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation and serves children in Kindergarten through sixth grades. SAC provides before and after school care with age appropriate child centered activities. Stimulating activities are offered in a variety of environments which include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, games, technology, performing arts, science and a homework assistance program. A full size gymnasium is used by all ages for their physical development.
The program provides opportunities to participate in 4H and Boys and Girls Clubs of America activities. SAC is also open full time during the summer and during school breaks to offer camps with a variety of activities and field trips.

The Warrior Zone is a modern multi-purpose entertainment center for Soldiers to socialize in their free time. We offer the space to relax, play video games, surf the web, watch movies, and play various games such as billiards, table tennis, and poker.
Troops gather to watch sporting events on several large, high-definition, flat-screen TVs, while eating, gaming, and mingling.

Youth Sports and Fitness
Children between the ages of five and eighteen can be kept busy with the many team and individual sports offered by CYS Services Sports and Fitness. Through these activities youth engage in healthy physical activity, make friends, learn social and athletic skills as well as good sportsmanship. Sports offered include, but are not limited to, archery, indoor soccer, outdoor soccer, t-ball, baseball, flag football, basketball and cheerleading. In addition, Sport Development Programs are available to teach basic skills for youth ages three and four.
