Looking for a Teen Babysitter? Looking to be a Teen Babysitter? CYS offers training following the 4-H babysitter curriculum in becoming a certified Teen Babysitter. Teen military family members in grades 7 and up who wish to expand and market themselves for babysitting jobs can be placed on the babysitter's referral list with parent permission. Stop by Parent Central Services at ACS to register.

American Red Cross - CPR Classes
Learn the skills you will need to effectively respond to situations as a first responder. You will also learn the precautions to help protect yourself from the spread of disease.
American Red Cross - Disaster/Emergency Relief Assistance
Red Cross provides disaster assistance in the form of a grant for local disaster (e.g. house fire). Red Cross also provides active duty members access to emergency travel financial assistance during “after-duty-hours” when Army Emergency Relief is closed.
American Red Cross - Family Emergency Services
Provide rapid communications between families and military personnel in times of family emergencies. Receive confirmation from doctor concerning diagnosis, prognosis, current condition, life expectancy, and the need for the presence of the service member. Anyone including the service member can start a message.
American Red Cross - Information and Referral
Provide confidential assistance with personal and family problems. Information about obtaining compassionate reassignments or hardship discharges is also available. Referrals are made to other agencies when Red Cross is unable to assist.

Army Community Services (ACS)
The mission of the Army Community Service (ACS) center is to facilitate the commander’s ability to provide comprehensive, coordinated, and responsive services that support readiness of Soldiers, civilian employees and their Families. USAG Italy ACS provides numerous programs and resources for Service Members (all branches, including active duty, guard and reserve), their families, retirees and DoD civilians Programs.
Army Emergency Relief (AER) - Emergency Financial Assistance
Army Emergency Relief provides EMERGENCY financial assistance in the form of a non-interest bearing loan, grant, or a combination of the two. We are located on Caserma Ederle in the ACS Center.
Army Family Action Plan (AFAP)
The Army Family Action Plan is your platform to voice your quality-of-life issues, ideas, or suggestions to help better your community. It’s the best way to let our Army Leaders know about what works, what doesn’t, and how you think problems can be resolved. Submit issues through Army One Source or ACS.
Army Family Team Building (AFTB)
AFTB classes are offered in-person and online. Focus is on providing basic Army Knowledge to spouses who are new to the Army. Spouses learn about ranks, acronyms, chain of command, and Army customs.
Army PCS Move App (Permanent Change of Station App) & PCS Guide (USAG PCS Guide)
Army PCS Move App: The primary goal of the Army PCS Move app is to educate and make information widely available to positively impact Soldiers, Families, and Civilians. The USAG PCS Guide: The primary goal the guide is to help prepare you for the three phases of your PCS move to Vicenza, Italy, which include: before arrival, in-processing, and settling in.

Army Public Health Nursing (APHN)
Army Public Health Nursing advises that all members of the Vicenza Military Community register with Patient Administration Division for immunizations and public health accountability. It is particularly important if you have school aged children, that they are registered as well. Contact the Patient Administration Division (Records Department) located on first floor of the clinic. You will be required to present your health insurance card when you and your family enroll.

Casualty Assistance Office
The Casualty Assistance Office serves as the primary point of contact for surviving spouses of active duty and retired service members along with Department of the Army Civilians stationed in Italy. The staff handles notification of next-of-kin, coordinates Casualty Notification and Assistance Officers, and briefs surviving family members on their benefits.

Furniture Lender. To assist families in moving into housing immediately, short-term loaner furniture can be provided for 90 days or until household goods arrive. Domestic Violence / Religious Services Office (RSO) - Chaplain
A sad reality of life is that domestic violence exists. For some, as victims, they are unable to find a way out of the cycle of violence. The Chaplain Family Life Center can help point victims to resources while helping offenders get the care they need to stop the violence.
Domestic Violence Clinical Counseling Services
Treatment, counseling, and rehabilitation case management for service members or their dependents who use violence or abuse in their relationships with spouses, partners, or children. Family Advocate Program(FAP) works with the support of command to teach new and constructive ways of interacting, managing conflicts, and communicating. Clinical services are available to address untreated trauma affecting those who harm the people they love, as well as the family members who are suffering. FAP clinicians can work with victims to develop a plan for safety and address unhealthy patterns of behavior or abuse in a relationship.
Domestic Violence Training
This training defines domestic abuse and intimate partner violence,and provides examples of behavioral and emotional impact to the individual and family. Classes offered to the middle and high school students, as well.
Domestic Violence Victim Advocacy - Non Clinical
Focus of the program isproviding supportive and compassionate services to Military and Civilian Survivors.
Driver's License / Driver's Testing
Driving in Europe is very different from driving in the United States. While most laws are similar, roads are typically smaller, traffic patterns differ and there are far more motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians.

Educational/Learning Issues for Teenagers - Adolescent Support and Counseling Services (ASACS)
Adolescent Support And Counseling Services provides individual, family and group counseling to adolescents who are at risk for making unhealthy choices. Risks factors include: anger; conflict with parents and/or with peers; changes within the family; deployments; self esteem; stress; and/or school related issues such as academic performance and/or attendance. Parents can seek assistance and/or counseling with concerns they have about their teen including rebelliousness within the home.

Emergency Placement Child Care
Short-term care (foster care) for children who may be in an abusive or neglectful situation and need a home for a short period of time.&nabs; Volunteer families provide a safe and warm environment for child to stay.&nabs; Placement is a minimum of three days to a maximum of 90 days in an EPC home.
Employment Assistance - Employment Readiness Program (ERP)
The Employment Readiness Program (ERP) assists all community members with skill development, network building, and provides additional resources that will allow them to find employment opportunities or develop career/work plans.
Employment Assistance (Soldier for Life)
Information and referral for Transition Support, Employment Counseling and Training, Financial Counseling, Education Counseling, VA Benefits Guidance, Information and Referral, etc. Soldiers leaving the Army must complete the Mandatory Pre-Separation Counseling Checklist (DD Form 2648) no later than 12 months from their separation date. New mandated Veterans Opportunity to Work (VOW) Act training requirements must be completed prior to separation.

Family Advocacy Program in Europe (FAP-E) is an outreach and prevention program is designed to strengthen and improve the quality of life for our military Families by increasing self-sufficiency, resiliency and community cohesion for active duty, Family members, civilians and retirees. Tax Relief Office
Personnel residing in private rental housing may take advantage of the Tax Relief Office (TRO) Utility Tax Exemption Program (UTEP) for Methane gas (City Gas) and Liquid Propane Gas (GPL). The Tax Relief Office requires a $232.00 service fee per year because the Tax Relief Office is a Non-Appropriated Fund function. Remember though that by joining UTEP, you could save on your home heating bills 32-48%. The Directorate of Public Works Housing Division will work with the customers regarding electricity and water.

Worksite Safety - Safety Office
Garrison Safety ensures safe and healthy workplaces within the VMC and DMC. Safety professionals inspect facilities to identify hazards for abatement actions. The Safety office collaborates with industrial hygiene, occupational health, fire department, facility engineers, and other professionals to develop and execute safety and health programs to minimize risk. Safety also conducts accident investigations as well as develops and administers off-duty seasonal safety promotion and training.
