Family Advocacy Program
Provides education and advocacy services designed to enhance family relationships and prevent incidents of child and spouse abuse. The program offers a variety of parenting support programs, including home visitation services for families of young children, educational workshops, support groups and a play group for young children. FAP program and classes include topics such as communication, conflict management, stress management, the dynamics of family violence and parenting. Short-term childcare is available to eligible families who participate in mandated programs.

All newly assigned personnel arriving to Fort Meade , expecting inbound personal property should immediately contact, either in person or telephonically, the inbound personal property section. Provide them your unit of assignment and a duty phone number, and any other phone numbers where you can be contacted when your personal property arrives. This will help preclude having to place your property in temporary storage if you already have a delivery address. You will be counseled on personal property and household goods entitlements and procedures for military and civilians in connection with assignment, reassignment, or termination of Government-furnished family housing or quarters, to include when no change of station orders are issued. The will execute all necessary actions to complete timely pack-out, pick-up delivery and/ or storage of personal property from origin to destination. Assists service members in processing claims on a reimbursable basis.

POV/Motorcycle Safety Training Classes - AIRS (requires CAC)
The U.S. Army Installation Command Registration system (AIRs) is a web-based scheduler and tracking tool for the Army Traffic Safety Training Program. AIRs allows military and civilian personnel to electronically register for traffic safety courses (Motorcycle Safety Classes and Intermediate Driver Training Classes) conducted at IMCOM garrisons.

School Aged Child Care
School Age Care Center provides before school, after school and hourly care for children in first through fifth grades. Children are transported to and from Manor View, Pershing Hill, West Meade and Meade Heights Elementary Schools.
School Age Care Center provides full day care on days when the schools are closed and offers a fun and exciting Summer Day Camp from mid June to late August, based on the Anne Arundel County Public Schools calendar.

The Fort Meade Teen Center opened up in 2006 with the bare minimum and in just a short period have grown to what it is today with the help of the great staff, bright teenagers, and a commitment to excellence. The Teen Center is located at at 3102 MacArthur Road Fort Meade, Maryland 20755, less than 300 feet across from Meade Senior High School.
Here at the Teen Center, we encourage high school teenagers to be the best that they can be by challenging themselves in various means.

Youth Services offers a Before and After School Program for middle school age youth. Transportation is provided to and from both middle schools on the installation. The program is staffed with well trained and caring youth professionals serving the after school needs of the youth of our community. The services provided include a safe and supervised setting with freedom for a variety of activity choices. Homework Assistance is available in the combined space of the homework center and computer lab. Educational and recreational software are available for exploration in the computer lab, as well as structured computer and program skill classes.
