Individual Counseling, Group Therapy
The Psychological Health Intensive Outpatient Program (PHIOP) provides enrolled active duty personnel with group and individual therapy, 3-4 hours per day, every day, for approximately one month. All service members must have a primary behavioral health care provider to be referred. PHIOP has tailored tracks to meet the needs of service members with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other common behavioral health concerns.

Madigan’s Labor & Delivery provides normal and high risk newborn patient care consisting of 18 adult beds and eight bassinets. There are seven birthing suites, two operating rooms, a six bed Triage/Monitoring area, four antepartum beds and a tub room for labor support. On average, we deliver 180 babies a month. Medication Disposal - Unwanted / Expired
JBLM offers multiple secure receptacles for the safe disposal of unwanted, unused or expired medications. The blue MedSafe receptacles are located in the Madigan Main Pharmacy Lobby, the McChord Medical Clinic on McChord Field, the Okubo Soldier Centered Medical Home on Lewis North, Winder Clinic, and the Madigan-Puyallup Community Medical Home. Each of these receptacles feature a one-way “drop door” to securely dispose of medications during regular business hours.
Accepted medications for disposal in the MedSafe include prescription and over-the counter medicines to include controlled-substance medications, vitamins, medicated lotions/ointments, liquid medication in leak-proof containers, and transdermal skin patches. Items that are not suitable for deposit in the MedSafe are needles (sharps), illegal drugs, aerosol spray cans (to include aerosol inhalers), and chemicals or hazardous waste.

Wounded Warrior Army Medical Readiness Assistance Program (AMRAP) (Replaced Ombudsman Program)
The Wounded Warrior Ombudsmen serve as a local resource, facilitator, and problem solver for Service Members and their Families. Ombudsmen are located in the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and serve as a liaison between MEDCOM, the Soldier and Family member, the MTF commander, and the Warrior in Transition Unit (WTU) commander. The Ombudsman assists WTU and non-WTU Soldiers and their Families with medical related issues. The Wounded Soldier Family Hotline (WSFH) [(800) 984-8523] serves as a 24/7 resource to any beneficiary seeking assistance with a medical issue/concern including wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers, and military Caregivers.
