A statewide network of regional call centers whose mission is to provide easy access to health and human services available throughout Alabama. Services the State of Alabama only through the phone. Please do NOT attempt to walk in for service.
Air Quality Index
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a tool to communicate the status of local air quality to the public—the Air Quality Index (AQI). The AQI is derived from real-time air pollution measurements taken at monitoring stations throughout the United States. The AQI has three components: a color, a score and a health message recommending protective action based on the level of air pollution.

Services and programs offered: Job seeker resources - layoff, older worker and veteran resources, training opportunities, labor market resources, employer and general resources.
Alcoholics Anonymous
Fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strength and hope with each other. ALANON: A support group for family and friends of the alcoholic. ALATEEN: A support group for children of the alcoholic. ACA: A support group for adult children of the alcoholic.
American Red Cross (ARC) Madison/Marshall County Chapter
Improve the quality of human life and enhance individual self-reliance and concern for others. Red Cross services help people prevent emergencies, prepare for emergencies, and respond to emergencies when they occur.
Annual Drinking Water Quality Report
The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is an annual drinking water quality report prepared by an organization that provides drinking water through a community water system. The US EPA requires that water purveyors for community water systems provide a CCR to their customers by July 1st every year. Information contained in the CCR includes the source of drinking water, applicable water quality requirements, and water system monitoring results for the previous year.
Armed Forces Emergency Services
Provides emergency-related services, financial assistance, and references to members of the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans, their families, and Civilians. Provides around-the-clock, around-the-world emergency communication to Armed Services Members and their Families during emergencies.
Army Community Service (ACS)
Gives the soldier and his/her family a central point to turn to for information, advice and guidance in resolving personal and family problems. Services include: Army Emergency Relief, Army Family Action Plan, Army Family Team Building, Childwise, Deployment and Mobilization, Employment Readiness Program, Exceptional Family Member Program, Family Advocacy Program, Informational and Referral Program, Installation Volunteer Program, New Parent Support Program, Relocation Assistance Program, Survivor Outreach Services and Victim Advocacy Program.

Provides a host of services to include: College Credit Exam, Financial Aid Information, Commissioning Opportunities, Entrance Examination, Basic Skills and Read to Lead and more.
Army Emergency Relief (AER)
Provides financial assistance for various types of emergencies or hardships.
Army Family Action Plan
The Team Redstone Army Family Action Plan (AFAP) is an Army-wide initiative to identify issues or concerns to improve the overall Quality of Life for Active duty, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve Soldiers, retirees and their Families, and the Department of the Army Civilians.
Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP)
ASAP provides prevention and education support for alcohol and drug misuse, initial evaluation and referral for job performance and or emotional problem.

Better Opportunities for Single Service (BOSS)
Supports the overall quality of single Soldiers' lives. Identifies real quality of life (QOL) issues and concerns and recommends improvements through the installation chain of command. Encourages and assists single Soldiers in identifying and planning recreational and leisure activities.

Comprised of two Child Development Centers, School Age Center (SAC), Youth Center, School of Knowledge Instruction, Exploration and Skills (SKIES), Sports and School Liaison Office (SLO). All programs are geared toward providing affordable child and youth care.
Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC)
Provides information on employment and referral services to job applicants. Administers classification, position management, training, recruitment and placement, labor relations, employee relations, incentive awards, technical services programs to ensure conformance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements for serviced organizations.
Cliffs
The cozy lodge is perfect for receptions and parties for all occasions and also for offsite training. Chairs, tables, and working areas are available for use at no additional cost; these enhance the value of renting this lodge.
Commissary

Community Housing Referral
In/out processing of eligible personnel. Post quarters are available by grade and date of arrival.
Conferencing Services
Provides a one stop conferencing services including: room scheduling, AV equipment rental, limited food options, online registration/payments services and conferencing packets for recreational activities.
Cottages at Redstone
Family and MWR offers five one-story cottages nestled on a forested cul-de-sac. Each unit is 1,200 square feet, and features three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, two bathrooms, sunroom, laundry room, and private patio.
Crisis line
HELP line Counselors are trained to respond to such concerns as depression, loneliness, domestic violence and suicide. Referrals are made where other sources of help are needed. All calls are confidential.

Provides swift response for disasters ranging from single family fires to major disasters. For families and individuals experiencing a disaster, provides groceries, meals, clothing, toiletry supplies, shelter, essential household items, furniture, and first month’s rent and/or deposit where necessary.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
EAP provides screening, referral, and short-term counseling for problem resolution including, but not limited to, anxiety, relationships, stress, parent/child relationships, divorce adjustment, grief, suicide, depression, financial, domestic violence, workplace violence, coping with change, alcohol and drug and other issues.

Program to acquaint employers and community organizations with employment service.
Employment Readiness Program
Designed to assist active duty and retired military, DOD civilians, and their family members by providing information and referral services regarding employment, volunteer and educational opportunities.
Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Garrison
Provides support to Civilian employees assigned to Team Redstone. Complaint processing, the Individuals with Disabilities Program, and the Special Emphasis Program are just a few of the programs managed by the EEO Office.
Equal Opportunity (EO)
Provides support to Service members assigned to Team Redstone. Complaint processing is handled through EO representative. Ethnic observances, and training for EO discrimination, Sexual assault/harassment, and Consideration of Others is coordinated through the EO office.
Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP)
Supports assignment authorities when they are reassigning service members who have handicapped adult or minor family members.

Family Advocacy Program (FAP)
Manager coordinates services for family members experiencing domestic conflict (child and/or spouse abuse and sexual assault). The FAP Manager provides education and information to the military and civilian community through speeches, handout material, and workshops.

Marital, pre-marital and family counseling. Family education and life enrichment courses are available. MWR provides opportunities for the Redstone community in many recreational and support areas. From fitness programs to art classes, MWR helps Team Redstone relax.
Federal Bonding Program
Employment service may affect the bonding of eligible job seekers who cannot obtain commercial bonds required by prospective employers.
Financial Readiness
The budget and counseling service has been developed to assist individuals undergoing financial problems to develop a plan for spending that will assist in resolving these problems. Consumer assistance is offered in cases involving conflict with local businesses.

A shelter for victims of family violence that provides short-term, safe housing and emergency assistance for victims and their children. Provide counseling and referrals to community services. Provide 24-hour crisis intervention. Prevent family violence through public education programs.
Housing Division
Housing assists with locating and/or providing adequate living accommodations on- or off-post for all eligible DOD military and civilian personnel. Housing assistance includes: eligibility and assignemnt for Army Family Housing (AFH) and Senior Living Quarters (SLQ); 24 Hour AFH and SLQ Maintenance; off-post housing support (i.e., rental agreement assistance and safety inspections); and managing government furnishings for AFH, SLQ, and off-post housing.

Responds to appeals for assistance in international disasters, and offers tracing/locating services for people separated from their relatives because of war, civil disturbance or natural disaster. Provides limited veterinary exams, health certificates for travel, sale of veterinary supplies, provides vaccinations, perform heartworm test, fecal lab test, skin and ear checks. Provide minor surgical procedures and Dental cleanings. Vaccinations, sick call, fecal check, and heart worm test.

Assist professional staff in many ways. Volunteer is familiar with the varied questions, problems, and emergencies that arise in military life. They share knowledge, experience, and time.
