Child Development, Adult/Parent Education: Developmental Screenings
Early Intervention Services are available for eligible children from birth up to the third birthday. Early Intervention supports families who have concerns or questions about their infant or toddler's development. Early Intervention providers help families identify if their child has a delay in one of the five developmental areas: adaptive, personal-social, communication, motor and cognitive. Early Intervention is tailored to support families and help children learn during day-to-day routines and activities. Services are therefore provided in locations where families live, work and play. Early Intervention provides information about child development, resources to support children's learning, ideas for promoting learning at home and in the community, and plans to help enhance children's development.

Wounded Warrior Resource Program
The Wounded Warrior Ombudsmen serve as a local resource, facilitator, and problem solver for Service Members and their Families. Ombudsmen are located in the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and serve as a liaison between MEDCOM, the Soldier and Family member, the MTF commander, and the Warrior in Transition Unit (WTU) commander. The Ombudsman assists WTU and non-WTU Soldiers and their Families with medical related issues. The Wounded Soldier Family Hotline (WSFH) [(800) 984-8523] serves as a 24/7 resource to any beneficiary seeking assistance with a medical issue/concern including wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers, and military Caregivers. Whether you have questions about the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) process, the VA Caregiver Program, or benefits, the WSFH and Ombudsmen are standing by to assist. If you are not in a community with an Ombudsman, please call the Wounded Soldier and Family Hotline at (800) 984-8523 and/or 312-421-3700 (overseas DSN).
