After school programs/youth sports activities/camps
Child and youth services provides professionally managed programs and a wide range of opportunities that meet the developmental, educational, leisure, recreational, physical and social needs of children and youth. Offers team and individual sports, outreach, fitness and health activities throughout the year.
Annual Drinking Water Quality Report
The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is an annual drinking water quality report prepared by an organization that provides drinking water through a community water system. The US EPA requires that water purveyors for community water systems provide a CCR to their customers by July 1st every year. Information contained in the CCR includes the source of drinking water, applicable water quality requirements, and water system monitoring results for the previous year.
Army Family Action Plan
Provides a way for Soldiers and family members to let Army leadership know what works, what doesn't, ways to resolve issues
Army Family Team Building
A volunteer-led organization with a central tenet provides training and knowledge to spouses and family members. Level 1,2,3 and Instructor Trainings are offered
Child and Youth Programs-School Age Services
Provides a caring and supervised atmosphere where children enjoy fitness and health activities, cooking projects, 4H clubs, and field trips directed and self-directed at the SAS facility. Operates during school holidays, teacher in-service days and during school vacations and during the summer using the Warren Consolidated School District calendar.
Child Development Center
Provides a nurturing and safe environment in a child development center. Provides referrals for certified Homes Off Post (HOP) providers.
Daycare/Child Development Center
Detroit Arsenal Child Development Center Provides a safe, healthy environment with programs that promote the well-being of youth. Currently holds partnership with L'Anse Creuse Public Schools and Anchor Bay Community Schools.

Disaster Relief/Emergency relief/emergency notifications
American Red Cross. Provides Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) classes for adults and children. Provides food, shelter, and clothing from donations in emergency situations (fire, flood, hurricane, etc.). Volunteers with disaster relief.
Domestic Violence/Child Abuse or Neglect
Family Advocacy offers prevention and education training in the areas of child abuse/neglect and spouse abuse. Designed to assist units, service members, retirees, and family members with solutions to domestic violence problems which may arise within the military community.
Emergency Relief
Army Emergency Relief provides financial assistance during valid emergencies that are unforeseen and require immediate attention. Assistance is provided as an interest free loan. Under extreme circumstances, assistance may be given as a grant. Emergencies must have originated from other than the Soldier's own actions. Food vouchers are also available to families in need.
Employee Assistance
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Provides confidential evaluations, counseling assistance and referral services for all Department of the Army civilian employees and their family members, retirees, and military family members , the Employee Assistance Program connects employees with essential civilian services which includes counseling, support groups, financial counselors, and legal assistance.
Equal Employment Opportunity Office
To ensure managers/supervisors and employees receive appropriate training on EEO related matters. Informs and maintains leadership understanding of compliance status on EEO programs. Provides the highest quality of advice on EEO programs assessments, workforce analysis, and briefings; Ability to assess EEO complaints are processed within the guidelines set forth in AR-690-600.
Financial Training, Budgeting, Debt Counseling
Army Community Service provides personal financial management services which includes budget counseling, debt liquidation plans, consumer education, savings, and credit card debt. Counseling is provided on an individual and confidential basis
Government Jobs/Employment
Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) provides assistance for specific civilian and military in-processing procedures at Detroit Arsenal. To ensure we recruit and retain a diverse workforce of the highest quality while providing our customers with efficient merit based service in support of our soldiers.
Housing Environmental Health Response Registry
The Housing Environmental Health Response Registry is a resource for residents to report housing-related health information and concerns. Residents will be invited to enroll in the registry and initiate an exchange with public health professionals. Registry participants will receive information on in-home environmental health, assistance in seeking medical care, and an opportunity to share concerns with Army leadership.
Housing Services
Army Community Services Housing Office provides comprehensive information on apartments, townhouses, condos, rental units and real estate agencies for home buyers. Military Family Housing Due to the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), on-base, government family housing is no longer available. All service members and their families assigned to the U.S. Army Garrison-Detroit Arsenal/Selfridge area are required to live on the local economy. Infectious Disease Epidemiologist
State Health Department Infectious Disease Epidemiology Program . The contact information provided is for the chief infectious disease epidemiologist in that program. Within these programs, each state conducts disease surveillance, collects information on reportable diseases from all healthcare providers and hospitals, and from local and regional health departments. Each state’s infectious disease epidemiology program investigates disease outbreaks, analyzes and distributes information on the incidence and prevalence of infectious diseases, health events, zoonotic and vector-borne diseases and vaccine-preventable diseases. States provide considerable disease and state-specific information on their state health agency’s website and search engine.

Installation Safety Office
To educate, promote, and enhance the safety, health, and welfare of personnel; manage and develop safety and occupational health policy, procedures, standards, and objectives for implementation of the Army Safety and Occupational Health Program within the Garrison and the installation as a whole.
Local Air Quality Information
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a tool to communicate the status of local air quality to the public—the Air Quality Index (AQI). The AQI is derived from real-time air pollution measurements taken at monitoring stations throughout the United States. The AQI has three components: a color, a score and a health message recommending protective action based on the level of air pollution. Designed to help empower military caregivers with information about national-level resources and programs specifically for them. Topics include: helplines, advocacy and benefit information, career transitions and employment, military caregiver support, children’s needs, education and training, financial support, rest and relaxation, and others.
Military Caregiver Virtual Forum
Military caregivers may join their peers virtually in a Department of Defense online forum every month to discuss topics that they choose and network with others who are experiencing similar challenges. Caregivers learn skills to overcome challenges and share resources.

Mobilization and Deployment
Army Community Service Mobilization and Readiness provides mission focused operational logistical support to Detroit Arsenal supported organizations in the areas of logistical plans and operations, maintenance, supply and services, and transportation.
Mobilization and Deployment/Stability and Support Operations Readiness -Army Community Service (ACS)
ACS Mobilization and Deployment Readiness services provided for active duty, reserve, and National Guard members and their families. Services include: unit pre- and post-deployment/mobilization briefings; Family Readiness Group assistance; information and referral services; resource materials; Unit Read Detachment Officer/NCO assistance; homecoming or reunion assistance; and specialized support services to families of deployed service members. Hearts Apart Program provides assistance to families of deployed service members or those who are geographically separated due to an unaccompanied tour of duty, extended TDY, deployment, mobilization, or repatriation. Provides personalized assistance and close monitoring of family members to ensure resolution of problems, provide necessary information, and make referrals to the appropriate agency or other resources.
National Resource Directory
The National Resource Directory is one of the largest online collections of government and non-government resources specifically designed for Veterans, service members, their families and caregivers. With a unique collection of more than 16,000 organized and vetted resources, the directory provides information covering a variety of topics, including benefits and compensation, education, homeless assistance, housing and other services.
Public Affairs Office
To serve as the primary point of contact for those who may be interested in learning more about Detroit Arsenal. By providing timely and accurate information about the installation, its facilities, activities and workforce, the DTA Public Affairs Office personnel are able to work closely with local, regional, and national media representatives
Relocation Assistance
Army Community Services focuses on ensuring support and assistance is available for inbound and outbound military personnel and their family members.

Army Community Service assists Family members who are relocating by providing information and other supportive services necessary to minimize the employment problems associated with transfer and relocating. Sexual Assault Hotline
Provides a consolidated support services to individuals impacted by sexual harassment and assault. Created to a offer comprehensive, victim-centered services to people who have been victims of sexual assault and various types of abuse. Clients can receive resources and services in one location from a team of expert providers dedicated to helping victims navigate.
Special Needs
Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) assists active Duty personnel with family members who have physical, emotional, developmental, or intellectual needs who require special treatment, therapy, education, training, and equipment or building modifications.
State Epidemiologist
State Health Department Lead State Epidemiologist is an appointed primary state epidemiologist, responsible for the identification and response for all health threats that occur within that state. This individual is selected by each state’s primary health official (usually the state health department director), or the state board of health. A state epidemiologist is usually responsible for each state’s infectious disease epidemiology program, often along with many other state health agency programs involved in disease detection and prevention.
State Public Health Laboratory
State Health Department Laboratory conducts laboratory testing for most all analysis requirements for public health surveillance. This may include monitoring and detection testing for environmental health, food safety, infectious diseases, newborn screening, public health preparedness, radiation safety, and many other tests. All state public health laboratories are part of the National Laboratory Network, and respond to novel strains of disease, natural disasters, chemical spills, foodborne outbreaks, and other public health emergencies.

Victim Advocacy/Domestic Violence
The Victim Advocacy Program provides victims of domestic violence and sexual assault with a variety of services and support designed to enhance victim safety and maximize autonomy. These services include: Crisis Intervention, Options Counseling, Safety Planning, Legal Advocacy, Court Accompaniment, Emergency Shelter Placement, Emergency Transportation, Relocation Assistance, Emotional and Command Support.
Volunteers/Volunteer Coordinator
Detroit Arsenal volunteer coordinator offers referral and support to volunteers. Volunteers work along with program managers in order to assist on special projects or where assistance is needed.
