Air Quality Index
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a tool to communicate the status of local air quality to the public—the Air Quality Index (AQI). The AQI is derived from real-time air pollution measurements taken at monitoring stations throughout the United States. The AQI has three components: a color, a score and a health message recommending protective action based on the level of air pollution.
Ambrose Fitness Facility
Ambrose Fitness Center offers a full range or cardio equipment including: •Treadmills •Ellipticals •Rowers •Spin bikes •Recumbent bikes •Upright bikes •Adaptive motion trainer •Stair climber •Free weight bars •Dumbbells •Kettlebells •Medicine Balls Hammer Strength and Life Fitness resistance equipment. This facility also has a regulation basketball court and one exhibition racquetball court.
Annual Drinking Water Quality Report
The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is an annual drinking water quality report prepared by an organization that provides drinking water through a community water system. The US EPA requires that water purveyors for community water systems provide a CCR to their customers by July 1st every year. Information contained in the CCR includes the source of drinking water, applicable water quality requirements, and water system monitoring results for the previous year.
Army Community Services
Army Community Service (ACS) assists the Fort AP Hill & Fort Belvoir community by developing, coordinating and delivering comprehensive services to help promote self-reliance, resilience and stability. ACS offers no-cost classes and trainings that are designed to equip Servicemembers, Family Members, Retirees, and Department of Defense Civilians with the life skills, knowledge and support needed to face the challenges of military life.
Army Emergency Relief
AER is the Army's own emergency financial assistance organization and is dedicated to "Helping the Army Take Care of Its Own." AER provides commanders a valuable asset in accomplishing their basic command responsibility for the morale and welfare of soldiers. AER funds are made available to commanders having AER Sections to provide emergency financial assistance to soldiers - active & retired - and their dependents when there is a valid need. Fort Belvoir currently services Fort A.P. Hill community.

Champ's Camp RV Park
"Champs Camp" RV Park offers: •Thirty (30) 20/30amp full hookup sites •Nine (9) 50amp full hookup sites •Two (2) sites are water & 20/30amp electric only. •Asphalt/gravel pads •Picnic tables •Outdoor charcoal grills •24 hour access to RV Service Center Within walking distance of the RV Park is a family friendly pond with canoe rentals and nature hiking trails. The RV Park is also in the center of a great mix of outdoor activities on Fort A. P. Hill to include: •Hunting •Fishing •Kayaking •Boating
Dental Clinic
The Clinic does not provide dental services at Fort AP Hill. Dental sick call services are provided at Fort Lee
Deputy State Epidemiologist
State Health Department Deputy State Epidemiologist assists the state epidemiologist in providing scientific and epidemiological expertise. While not all states have a deputy state epidemiologist, those that do have an additional subject matter expert resource for public health and epidemiology.

Housing Environmental Health Response Registry
The Housing Environmental Health Response Registry is a resource for residents to report housing-related health information and concerns. Residents will be invited to enroll in the registry and initiate an exchange with public health professionals. Registry participants will receive information on in-home environmental health, assistance in seeking medical care, and an opportunity to share concerns with Army leadership.
Infectious Disease Epidemiologist
State Health Department Infectious Disease Epidemiology Program. The contact information provided is for the chief infectious disease epidemiologist in that program. Within these programs, each state conducts disease surveillance, collects information on reportable diseases from all healthcare providers and hospitals, and from local and regional health departments. Each state’s infectious disease epidemiology program investigates disease outbreaks, analyzes and distributes information on the incidence and prevalence of infectious diseases, health events, zoonotic and vector-borne diseases and vaccine-preventable diseases. States provide considerable disease and state-specific information on their state health agency’s website and search engine.
Lois E. Wells Heath Clinic
Lois E. Wells Heath Clinic provides 24 hour, 7 days a week emergency paramedic service. Basic sick call Monday - Friday 0730-1500. (Only with a provider available) The clinic has limited lab and pharmacy capability. Currently the clinic has no x-ray capability, warriors will be sent to Dahlgren Naval clinic or Spotsylvania Medical Hospital.
Military Caregiver Resource Directory
Designed to help empower military caregivers with information about national-level resources and programs specifically for them. Topics include: helplines, advocacy and benefit information, career transitions and employment, military caregiver support, children’s needs, education and training, financial support, rest and relaxation, and others.
Military Caregiver Virtual Forum
Military caregivers may join their peers virtually in a Department of Defense online forum every month to discuss topics that they choose and network with others who are experiencing similar challenges. Caregivers learn skills to overcome challenges and share resources.

MilPetED is a free application for smartphones and tablets, designed to provide easy access to animal health information, tips and resources for Service Members, beneficiaries, and retirees.

National Resource Directory
The National Resource Directory is one of the largest online collections of government and non-government resources specifically designed for Veterans, service members, their families and caregivers. With a unique collection of more than 16,000 organized and vetted resources, the directory provides information covering a variety of topics, including benefits and compensation, education, homeless assistance, housing and other services.
Outdoor Pool
Outdoor pool provided to Fort AP community. Guest and pool passes as well as season passses are available upon registration.
Outdoor Recreation Center
Outdoor Recreation Center provides program offers for hunting and fishing, dunk tank rentals, super cooker rentals, party canopies, tent camping, RV storage, paintball, archery range and rental equipment items. Recreation Kits available to units through Outdoor Recreation contain popular outdoor sports equipment for large groups.
Police Desk
Conduct law enforcement, physical security, fire prevention and protection, and force protection operations on the Fort A.P. Hill installation and areas of responsibility to provide the community with a safe and secure place to live, work, and train.
Public Affairs Office
Public Affairs Office coordinates on a limited basis, tours of the installation for established civic or business groups. Organizing speakers are also available to address groups within the region. Fort A.P. Hill supports area schools and provides speakers and assistance to career days and other events.

Ready and Resilient training, Performance Enhancement training, Engage training, Not in my Squad training, Training for special populations, goal setting, adaptive reconditioning, and Warrior games support training for Service members, Family members, and Civilians.
Recreational Lodging
Fort A.P. Hill recreational lodging offers three types of accommodations to meet your needs: Our cabins, cottages and motel-style rooms offer the perfect getaway location. Nestled in the woods, individuals can enjoy scenic lakeside views with all the modern kitchen and bathroom conveniences. These facilities attract outdoor and nature enthusiasts from all over the region. All of our facilities are fully furnished with linens and kitchenware included.
Safety Office
To ensure the safety, health and well-being of all those who reside, train, or visit Fort A.P. Hill, through the risk management process and adherence to safety regulations, standards, policies and principles by working together as a team to accept and manage risks in order to complete missions and tasks safely and efficiently to minimize or prevent accidental loss of human and material resources.
SHARP Office
The Army's Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) program exists so the Army can prevent sexual harassment and sexual assaults before they occur. Our goal is to eliminate sexual harassment and sexual assaults by creating a climate that respects the dignity of every member of the Army Family.
State Epidemiologist
State Health Department Lead State Epidemiologist is an appointed primary state epidemiologist, responsible for the identification and response for all health threats that occur within that state. This individual is selected by each state’s primary health official (usually the state health department director), or the state board of health. A state epidemiologist is usually responsible for each state’s infectious disease epidemiology program, often along with many other state health agency programs involved in disease detection and prevention.
State Public Health Laboratory
State Health Department Laboratory conducts laboratory testing for most all analysis requirements for public health surveillance. This may include monitoring and detection testing for environmental health, food safety, infectious diseases, newborn screening, public health preparedness, radiation safety, and many other tests. State public health laboratories are part of the National Laboratory Network, and respond to novel strains of disease, natural disasters, chemical spills, foodborne outbreaks, and other public health emergencies.

Visitor Control Center handles all requests for ID card renewal issues such as: Issuance of temporary vehicle passes Registration of personally owned firearms Issuance of contractor, FMWR member, personal services and volunteer badges Issuance of special badges and passes for organization van pool personnel Requests for events held on the installation In/out processing Directions and information Access control background checks for contractors and personal services requests
