Sexual Assault and Harassment - Behavioral Health
The Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is staffed by military and civilian providers who provide outpatient assessment, diagnosis and treatment for behavioral health and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation to active duty Soldiers and their Family Members. Specific programs include: Screening for TBI, Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, ADHD and other behavioral health conditions; Individual and Group Counseling; Medication Management; and evaluation and treatment for partner relational problems and domestic violence. A Behavioral Health Triage Clinic is available during regular duty hours for Soldiers with urgent behavioral health issues in Building P36. Referrals to inpatient care at other facilities are available as determined by the treatment team. Wounded Warrior Ombudsman Program
The Wounded Warrior Ombudsmen serve as a local resource, facilitator, and problem solver for Service Members and their Families. Ombudsmen are located in the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and serve as a liaison between MEDCOM, the Soldier and Family member, the MTF commander, and the Warrior in Transition Unit (WTU) commander. The Ombudsman assists WTU and non-WTU Soldiers and their Families with medical related issues. The Wounded Soldier Family Hotline (WSFH) [(800) 984-8523] serves as a 24/7 resource to any beneficiary seeking assistance with a medical issue/concern including wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers, and military Caregivers. Whether you have questions about the Disability Evaluation System process, the VA Caregiver Program, or benefits, the WSFH and Ombudsmen are standing by to assist.
